Can you remove video categories?

I am having a hard time as a noob and I cant find the answer in the forum, I just dont know the terminology well.

What I am trying to do is make a single powerpoint presentation that was converted to a .mp4 play on my samsung tv.
I see that the tv detects serviio but I do not want to see menu options for picture and music. When I go to video how do I just see the movi files that are just in the shared folder. I do not want to see all the sort options like by actor, lenth, etc.
Also when the movie ends how do I have it automatically start playing again?

Thank you,
Rob

Re: Can you remove video categories?

For the menu options I believe you're referring to the different presentations available in Serviio. You can modify what you see in the Serviio console on the Presentations page. Simply disable everything under video except Movies, and then change Movies to Display content only. That should just give you a list of all videos available, even if it's just one.

Your playback questions are all about your TV, not Serviio. Everything you desire is controlled by the player, not the server. So, first off, I don't think there's any way you can auto-play something. You will always need to initiate the initial playback.

As to replay, I don't know if the Samsung player has that ability. I just looked at the Samsung next to me that I use as a computer display (a TU7000) and I did find a Repeat button after I started a video playing. So you should be able to trigger that on yours as well, assuming that function is available on yours. Once you've triggered Repeat, it should just play that same video continuously.
