Asking Echo dot(alexa) to play Serviio movie on LG TV

10 year+ Serviio user here.

Could someone tell me if this is possible?

We have 4 yr old that's recently learned to tell alexa commands on the Echo got.

I have serviio that streams to numerous tvs via dlna direct to mainly lg oled b8 tv, but also through shield.


Would it be possible/feasible (with pro version) to setup Alexa so that my kid can say "Alexa Play Toy Story" to the Echo dot, and have it just start playing toy story on the tv via dlna?

What accessories do I need to make this work? While using Alexa, if I say "Alexa open omegle", it will open the website. Like on TV, Alexa can turn on and off the TV using IR blaster. What about serviio?

If the TV has Alexa built in, I would think that would be all you need. While I have an Alexa device, I've never played with it controlling Serviio or my other devices.
