VLC sees Series -> Show folders, but no seasons or media?
Posted: Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:15 amI'm running Serviio 1.10.1, and it now works well for all my renderers except VLC on Android.
My Sony BDP-S370 works fine, my WD TV HD Live works fine and BubbleUPnP on Android works fine, too.
However, VLC on Android fails. It shows the first level Series folder structure served up by Serviio, i e it shows Series -> Poirot, but season folders and media files are not seen. Instead, VLC complains that "this folder is empty".
The "Folder" menue tree, however, works as expected.
Can anytone venture a guess as to what the problem might be??
I suppose I might have left off some important config detail in VLC for Android. Or there might be some permissions/access mistake.
My media files are on a SAMBA share on a FreeNAS 11.3 box.
I run BubbleUPnP on the same Android device. Would that be a problem for Serviio, and make it hard for Serviio to see that there's a VLC renderer?
