Samsung TV disconnects

Hello,

I have a Samsung UN46F6400 TV connecting to Serviio 2.0 running on my Mac running Catalina 10.15.3. My router is Fios-G1100. My computer runs Parallels but Serviio is intalled on the IOS and no Windows10.

My connection to the Serviio Server is very inconsistent. It continually disconnects and I'm not sure where to look for a solution. I've enabled DEBUG logging but the serviio.log fill just indicates that the movie started and then stopped partway through the run time.

Are there files that I can review/upload for support? Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Just a guess, but it sounds like a network issue. I know nothing about the MacOS, so can't offer too much. One thing that Windows can do is shut down the network interface for power saving, so I always turn that off. No idea if Mac has something similar. Are you using WiFi, or are you connected via Ethernet?

In windows I disable the option to put the network card into sleep mode. I didnt see anything like that on the mac side.

Once debugging is enabled, are there any other files to check for clues besides the log file?

I was able to finish one episode of my show after trying 3 times. The fast forward option is no longer available to it is is quite frustrating having to rewatch the beginning 25 mins

No, the log file will be the only one that contains any potentially useful information for Zip.

FF won't work if the file is being transcoded. The only exception is when the transcoding profile uses HLS (applehttp) as the format. Most profiles do not use that format for transcoding. You could experiment with the Roku TV profile and see what that does.
