Hello everybody.

Despite many attempts since a few hours, I did not succeed to do what I want.
I would like to read since my Samsung TV a .mkv file on the web, without download them.
In fact, I would like to learn streaming with Serviio.

I tried that... But I think there is anything who's wrong.

If I select "Live Stream", it's okay, a file apparead in my library but no direct control.
For "Web Resource", there is nothing.

You can see here the "presentation" settings :

(Sorry, It's half in French, I'm French)

So, what can be the correct settings please ?

Thanks.

The only way to stream a video from the web is for the web provider to offer it that way. You can't "stream" a file from an online repository. It must be downloaded before it can be played. The Online Resources function of Serviio only works with web resources that are configured to stream the video.

Do you know any other ways to read streaming with a Samsung Smart TV ?

If you mean to stream from an Internet site, Samsung includes apps for the major sites, such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, etc. If you are referring to what you mentioned originally, when there's a media file stored somewhere on the Internet, and you want to stream, not download, the answer is no. The site that is offering the media must be configured to stream it. There's nothing you can do from your end to stream a media file if it's not on a streaming server.
