Hi Folks,

i want to set a user with restricted rights for every new discovered device.

I thought that if I set up users with fewer rights, the default setting "Unassigned" would have no rights at all. But unfortunately the opposite is the case, it has all rights. (At least that's the case with Samsung devices). So it would make sense to withdraw all rights from newly recognized devices or to assign only the restricted users. Is that doable?

Right now there are only two options for newly connected devices, either full access or no access. That can be toggled on the Serviio console Status tab. You might consider making a request for a new feature via Bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/xnejp03/serviio/issues
