Media browser -- no password on "remote" section.Hi,

Hi,

I got Serviio trial running on my Solaris X86 box that also serves as my NAS.
I took the linux release and unzipped it into a folder.
I can get to console, I managed to add folders to the library and stream to my LG TVs using DLNA.
I don't recall setting a password and the remote section on the web console doesn't have a password field to set.
Did I miss out on something ? I can't access the media browser as there is no user/pass I remember setting nor do I have a place to set that up..

Thanks
Meni,

Starting with Serviio 2.0, you must create a user account to use MediaBrowser. The Serviio console has a User tab for creating and maintaining user accounts.

Once the user account is created, you must now identify what libraries that user can access. Look at your shared folder libraries on the Serviio console and select Edit on one. There will be a list of user account names with a checkbox. You must check the box for that user to see that particular shared folder. Repeat the process for whatever shared folders you want accessible by that user account.

Thank you Dan,

That indeed worked, didn't find that mentioned in the documentation..
it is now working as expected.
