someone help me with Serviio and Playstation media player

I'm at my wits end. Serviio is up and presumably running. PS4 and PC are connected to the same network. All Firewall exceptions needed for Serviio are there, and my router has UPnP enabled as well as multicast, but nothing is working. I'm on Windows 8.1. Set up many servers in the past, but never had this much trouble. Thanks.

Nothing is normally required on your router for your internal network. However, some routers have security features that block wireless devices from seeing other devices on your network, and that has caused similar issues for other users. While Windows 8.1 is getting old, it still should work fine with Serviio.
So, as you using WiFi for any connection? One other item that has solved similar problems is to use a general Ethernet switch to connect wired devices, rather than the switch within the router. Then there's no potential issue with the router blocking access.
