Using serviio with ipv6-adresses?

Hello,
getting a new fibrechannel-provider here in germany, we are now able to use the whole, working ipv6-addresspace. Until now, im using serviio-pro without problems in older ipv4-univers. console and mediaplayer are working well until now within ipv4. working with an fritzbox and portforwaring for tcp 23423, 23524 and TCP 8895 "nd UDP 1900 ports. Now the situation changed. Serviio is still working on my Apple MacMini and is local usable like before without problems. But connecting to serviio from the ipv6-space results always in errormessages. So first of all, i want to ask, if serviio is usable an only-ipv6-environment? Im missing some configuration tips for setting the domain/address inside console.

Other parts of our local network and devices are usable from outaide the ipv6-world without any problems, like an Synology NAS with an installed Nextcloud-system. So the fundamental parts of configuration shloud work: ipv6 forwarding, modifying firewall-rules etc. But im not able to activate neither console-, nor mediaplayer-mode in webbrowsers from serviio.

Are there any fundamental errors in using serviio with ipv6?

Re: Using serviio with ipv6-adresses?

I can't say for certain, but whenever I've looked at my Serviio log I've never seen any reference to IPv6. Of course, my network uses both 4 and 6, so perhaps it favors 4 in a mixed environment. But based on the logs I've examined, Serviio doesn't appear to use the IPv6 stack at this time.

I just did a search on the Serviio bitbucket site, which is where the developer maintains a list of bugs/enhancements being worked, and did not see anything about IPv6 there. A quick web search doesn't find anything recent in this forum about it either. Sounds like something Zip is going to need to address.

This is the first I've heard of a provider only offering IPv6 with their router. Of course, you could always add your own router that supports v4 and v6, but naturally it's kind of a last resort if IPv4 is still something absolutely required.
