Remote access issue

Hi,

I've opened up port forwarding for port 23424 on my Sky ER110 (Firmware Version 2.21.2760.R) router to point to the NAS which is running Serviio but remote access isn't working - i've tried using a browser and also ServiioGo but both just time out. Use Siri Voice Generator on Windows

I have a QNAP TS-251, i do have some VPN profiles setup and in for use with NordVPN, would that be interfering with it in some way?

Yes, my guess is it's something with your VPN. I don't use one, so have no experience with what might cause it. But I'd look for some sort of whitelist function that permits access.

And of course, you do need to ensure your public access address is correct, either by using a static public IP address or using a dynamic DNS URL provider. I use the latter, and it's worked well for many years.
