Serviio V2.0 File Filtering - how to?
Hello Everyone,
I have been waiting for an update to Serviio that would allow filter type filtering and it has finally arrived
Now my problem is that I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly. I see that in the Advanced Features I can tell Serviio to ignore files with certain extensions. In my case, Nikon NEF files. I have tried entering the file extension in different forms - "*.NEF", ".NEF" and simply "NEF" (without the quotes). However, when I view pictures on my TV (via PlayStation 3) the NEF files still appear.
What is the correct way to put in the file extension? Do I need to use the dot before the extension, like ".NEF" or do I need to just put "NEF"? Also, if I wan to skip multiple extensions, do I separate them with a comma?

Also, since I have upgraded from version 1.x, do I need to rebuild my library to force it to skip the NEF files? If so, how can I do that?
Thanks to all who reply.
