Serviio

I have two series named the same. I've tried appending the start year of the series to the folder name (ex: "Series name (2011)" and "Series name (2023)") but Serviio still organizes episodes into the same folder within Series. What is the proper way to name these folders to enable Serviio to treat them as different series?

There was a bug in Serviio that was grouping the series together as you mention. It was fixed in Serviio 2.3, but the only way to clear the issue is to move the folders out of the Serviio file locations, then move them back one at a time. I had the same problem with Dr Who (1963) and Dr Who (2005), as well as Dragnet (1951) and Dragnet (1967). Also, make sure your year match what is shown on themoviedb.org for the series, as that's where Serviio get's its online metadata for TV series.
