Sony seems to be the only company that does this, but once it sees a DLNA server it retains it in the list. It can even be the same server using a different IP address, because that's what it is based on. You can remove them, but it's been so long since I've even powered on my Sony BD player I can't remember exactly how it's done. I am thinking that when the redundant server is highlighted, there's a remove option on the side menu. But yes they can be removed.
