The Openindiana people added a librtmp enabled ffmpeg to their "sfe-encumbered" repository.

As long as you're not in the US, the SW in sfe-encumbered is perfectly legal, and that ffmpeg works very well for online feeds.

Sorry to drag up a really old thread - how did you get the SFE-Encumbered fmpeg installed on OI?

I'm running OI151a and having no end of trouble with the never ending list of dependancies..
