Serviio 0.6.2 RSS / Online Streams

Sorry if this has been posted before but a search didn't bring up anything.

I am running Serviio 0.6.2 with the latest plugins. My pc is acting as the server using Windows 7.
I have two Sony Bravia tv's - 1x KDL32EX403U (Series 2010) and 1xKDL40CX523 (Series 2011).
I have Serviio showing options for both local media (video and audio) and also online media such as the RSS feeds
(viewtopic.php?f=41&t=5117)

Serviio will display my local folders and play them. Serviio will also display the RSS folder feeds and the contents within.
However, online streams added as live streams aren't showing in the listing at all.
I've completely uninstalled the software and clean installed including all links and URL's.
I've also downloaded the latest FFMPEG.

No matter what I do, I cannot get Serviio to display the online live feeds.

Has anyone any ideas what else I can try?

Thanks in advance.

When posting I forgot to add that I had also deleted the db database files that were previously. Also, some audio online feeds I put into the console show. The RSS video streams show and I can play the content. The problem just seems to be online direct URL's on video that I cannot play or get to show up despite video being enabled in the library.

Can you post an example one that doesn't work.

Hi Will,

Thanks for responding.

I'm now out of house so can only post from my iphone.

The best example I can give is Comedy Central whIch is in the RSS feeds.
If I go to it via the RSS folder (HD channels) it will show up and play.

If I delete the RSS folders and use the direct link for the channel under online, set the option as a live feed, it doesn't show up on either Bravia I have. Direct links to streams just don't appear or seem to be recognised.

Hope you can suggest something... as I've tried new clean installs. I've deleted the database files and also installed the latest ffmpeg.

I've also made serviio run as administrator on Windows 7 but now I'm baffled.

Thanks

That was just one example I could give at the time.

The strange thing is that despite me saving set the feed limit to unlimited and having 11 feeds in the online video section, Serviio is only showing 9 of them and stops. It will not show all the RSS properties even though I have double checked the RSS url's are right.

So, I have 11 RSS feeds on the online video plus 25 online live streams.
Serviio will only display 9 RSS feed folders and no online live streams despite the fact that I can put the online live feeds into vlc and they will play. Serviio refuses to show them even though they are correct.

Can't do anything to help you without seeing the rss and valid links that play on VLC but don't work. The only one you have provided is invalid and so it won't play on VLC or Serviio. Only reason for your RSS and links not to display is that they are invalid or dark.
