I'm not quite sure how to force transcoding of online livestreams to a lower bitrate. Calification:

- Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, Serviio 0.6.2
- i have DVBConnect Server installed which generates http streams for live tv channels received by the DVB-c receiver hooked up to my pc.
- i have defined each of these http streams as Online Livestreams in Serviio
- i can watch these online livestreams just fine on my Samsung Galaxy S android phone when connected to my home network. Bitrate is around 1000KB/s
- i would like to force transcoding to a lower bitrate (like 300KB/s) to watch these same livestreams when my phone is connected to a 3G network.

I can't seem to find profile examples which each me how to accomplish this, any help appreciated.

How do you want to access the DLNA server from a 3G network?

To limit bitrate you can transcode with vBitrate attribute set to the required value. It'll affect all devices using the profile though, no matter which network.

copy profile that yozu are using now into other that you will modify, and for selected devices, you will choose that new profile with limited bitrate.... for all other devices in home, you will use origin profile without that limitation
