Serviio

Howdy!

I've been using Serviio for many years and completely love it, mainly because I've never had a problem working with it. It does what it's supposed to do and gets the job done. I updated Serviio recently to the latest version and discovered the Online Sources section. I added a few different radio streams to the sources page but when I go to my tv nothing shows up. I have tried multiple URLs and still nothing. Perhaps it is something really simple that I am not doing right since everything else DOES work for me (local audio and video streams). I checked all of the links with ffmpeg and they all returned positive results so I am not sure where else to turn. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Yes, it's strange that it is not working. I was going to post the log but there is nothing in it that is out of the ordinary. Is there anything else that I can provide that may help find the solution?

I think you are refering to my initial post which was incorrect and I erased. They failed for me because I left them declared as RSS feeds. They worked correctly when I switched them to livestreams. See my corrected post above.

Thanks for replying jhb50. I've been working on it most of the day and have uploaded some pictures that might help. I am able to play these streams from my computer as well as my phone which leads me to believe it could be something with the tv. I have no idea though, just a thought. Please let me know if you would like more. I appreciate the help!

You need to delete all these, then set up the log in debug mode, then readd the streams and submit your log for review. That's the only way someone can help you. I have a Samsung and they work for me so I guess its the Sony profile that needs fixing.

Well I reinstalled Serviio 0.6.2 as well as Java and it seemed to do the trick. I don't know why I didn't try this earlier but I appreciate the help anyway. Till next time!
