Serviio Not Detecting Episodes

Hey all, I tried googling this earlier in the day and searching the forums but I couldn't find anything that applied directly to me. I tried importing all of my TV shows earlier today and noticed that a lot of them were not showing up. I then moved all of the folders except for two: Adventure Time and Alphas to try to test why it won't detect my shows. My folder layout is:

Adventure Time > Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4
Alphas > Season 1

All of these files are .mkv When I run a scan it detects Adventure Time Seasons 1 and 2 and sometimes 3, but never 4. It also never detects Alphas at all. I've tried lots of things, changing around where the metadata is coming from (I'm currently using exported nfo files from XBMC). The file format should be readable. One of the files it's not detected is: Adventure time - 4x01 - Hot to the Touch.mkv

When I look at the log it just stop looking after Adventure Time Season 3.
And help would be appreciated.

If you use .nfo files (and select this metadata source in the console) the file name doesn't matter, it reads metadata from the nfo file. Note that only one metadata source type is always active, you can either have onlne metadata or .nfo, not both. Also check the Folders category to see if the file itself has been added (and only not showing in Series category)

I have tried both online metadata and the .nfo files and neither of them worked. The files do not show up in the Folders category either. When I look at the log it is not detecting the shows at all.

Are all the files in the same folder?

Yes the layout is:

TV
=> Adventure Time
===> Season 1
===> Season 2
===> Season 3
===> Season 4
=> Alphas
===> Season 1

Only the first 3 folders are detected and then they stop. All files are renamed with TheRenamer and XBMC detects them. The Adventure Time episodes all have the same filename format so it blows my mind why it would detect Seasons 1 - 3 but not 4.

If they are not even in Folders then it's either unrecognized file format (I doubt it, but you can paste ffmpeg -i for a file here anyway) or access rights to the folder or files within it.

It might also be caused by a single dodgy file that blocks adding any files after that. you could check the log which file has been added last.

777? You are on windows. Or is that a remote disk (D:)? The user that runs the service (probably System) must have the access

I guess 777 isn't the right terminology, I don't often use Windows. I was just trying to say they have full permissions. I gave every user full permissions including System.

I was wondering if there was a solution to this? I am having the exact same problem.

I find that episode recognition with filenames like you have there can be sketchy. I generally go through the folders renaming just the episode number to this format: s01e04. Always works for me.
