Serviio

Have read a lot of threads on this - doesn't seem to be any solutions so I'll post my despair here and hope someone can help.

I have had a reliable wdtv for some months now. It can access network shares on my windows xp quite nicely.

Today I have installed serviio on the same pc.

serviio puts "amber dots" against anything I try to add in.
the wdtv cannot see it.
the network shares still work though.
I have bound the ip address as recommened.
for the record - my pc uses a wireless connection. could this be a problem?
the wdtv is wired.
both devices use hardcoded ip - no dhcp.
i turned off avg and windows firewall - it made no difference.
i stopped tomtom , bonjour and itunes related services just for the hell of it - no help.

any ideas?

post detailed log and describe the IP addresses you are using

its ok - managed to fix by upgrading router firmware.

yes, i know i should have done this before - but router was telling me I had the latest. I worked out manually I did not.
