Serviio

Hi i have a question, i own a virtual machine with ubuntu, i have installed on it a working ftp and i can stream some movie from it usig some pc software.
Can i configure serviio with ftp streaming?can i install serviio on ubuntu too and merge with the serviio installed on my home windows?

Sry for my bad english.....i home someone can help me.

not out of the box, I don't think. you might have to change ftp to http server and then use for example the Playlist plugin to get to the file.

ok http server enabled now i need to know how works the plug in
