I exclusively use the online metadata option but have problems with two movies and wondered if anyone had a solution. No matter how I try to rename the files:

Kill Bill Vol. 2 : always comes up as Kill Bill Vol. 1

Saw II : always comes up as Saw

Has anyone got a naming convention that works for these movies? I have already tried adding the year in brackets but it makes no difference.

Try naming the files "Kill Bill Vol. 2 (2004).???" and "Saw II (2005).???". Works for me.

I always name my movies using "Movie Name (Year) resolution.vcodec.acodec.extension
My saw II file is named "Saw II (2005) 1080p.h264.ac3.mkv" and my Kill Bill Vol. 2 is named "Kill Bill Vol. 2 (2004) 1080p.h264.dts.mkv"
Havn't had a problem yet.

Thanks - got it working now finally. Had two problems in case it helps others:

1. My Saw movies were in a folder called 'Saw' - changed this to 'Saw movies' - I think it is a problem with the folder being a movie name.

2. Despite all the renaming, I only finally got these movies naming correctly by moving the actual files out, updating the database, then re-adding the files.
