serviio-console.sh produces blank window [solved]
I have tried with both icedtea7 and sunjre1.6
nvidia-drivers 302.17
The server seems to run, at least it produces no errors.
The console appears to launch but produces a blank window and a tray icon with some exit options that work.
Edit: This application seems to have problems if the window manager is non reparenting and is not recognized as such by your java jre.
Affects awesome-wm and maybe others so I will just leave this here as a reference.
A quick fix is to use
wmname LG3D
As it is in the list of hardcoded window managers that are non reparenting.
