Disconnect when rebooting any wired pc on lan
Posted: Wed Jul 11, 2012 9:41 pmI'm hoping someone has run into this issue, in a nutshell I'm running WHS2011 with Serviio 0.6.2 and the WHS2011 addin Serviio console. I'm streaming to my Samsung BD-D5700 with no problems whatsoever unless or until someone on the lan reboots their pc. I enabled DEBUG mode and grabbed the end of the log after it finished checking my library. I hope it contains something that might point to a solution. The lan hardware consists of a Dlink DIR-825 and a Trendnet TEG-S80g 8 port Gigabit switch. Client are all running either Windows 7 Ultimate 32 or 64 bit or Windows XP Pro SP3. Everything in the house is wired with cat6 except 1 laptop and 2 wireless printers. This disconnect seems to occur during POST of any pc wired to the lan. I saw someone with a Trendnet managed switch turning off IGMP (if i recall) and fixing "random disconnects" but as my switch is not managed, I can't try that. Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated.
