Library data - how to save a copy

I need to reinstall serviio after an OS reinstall.

How do I export my existing library data, and import into the new serviio?

Thanks

Re: Library data - how to save a copy

Stop the Serviio service, copy the entire Serviio\library folder.
Put it back when you re-install, then start the service.

Re: Library data - how to save a copy

patters, if the console options/library sharedfolders/online sources on the reinstalled serviio are diiferent than those in the previous install/library, will it make any difference when the library is restored? What happens to those onlinelinks that show enabled in the library but are not present or disabled in the new Serviio, or does the restored library also restore all the previous console settings?

Re: Library data - how to save a copy

AFAIK the library contains all Serviio settings too. When I'm experimenting on my package for Synology NAS I often backup my DB and restore later so I don't have to rebuild it when testing stuff. All check boxes in the console remain as they were, and feeds too.
