Strange registry activity in ServiioService.exe

I soon noticed that the ServiioService.exe process is periodically reading the registry key "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces" and its subkeys hundreds of times per second. It keeps reading the same registry keys over and over again in a loop, periodically. I cannot see any sensible reason for this.

Please check this out. The CPU usage gets pretty high and my laptop becomes slightly laggy during this thing.
