OS X: Why does the serviio program not show in top(1)

Just upgraded to 1.0 and spent ages trying to figure out why it wasn't, apparently, starting - until I started the Console and found the server was running.

It doesn't show up in Activity Monitor, top(1), or in ps -ax

I'm starting it in daemon mode, but still it should show up.

Any ideas?
