For whatever reason I get an everloading story when try to play a file over the Mediabrowser. When you tell me what log you need or what to look after I'm happy to provide more information.
Re: Everloading Story
Is it local file that is large size with high resolution? It might be taking a lot of time transcoding it to lower res for the mediabrowser - depending on your CPU speed and number of cores.
Using Serviio on Debian "Wheezy" with Xbox 360, Sony BDP-S370 & Panasonic E6.
Re: Everloading Story
Hm - well - movie with approx 1.5 GB in 720p - will try with some smallerfiles too.
Re: Everloading Story
Hm - no. Systems goes up to 100% at all 4 cores (ok - it's an Atom ...) but on the other Hand Streaming even with more then one connected client is working just fine.
System: 32 bit Windows 7, 4GB RAM, Intel Atom D510
Java Version 6.0.330.5
What I see is that ffmpg taking hell of memory - and stays up even as the stream is canceled.

Re: Everloading Story
can you post detailed log with the ffmpeg command logged? Also can you select a different quality (eg original)?
