Flow Player not playing..

Flow player just sit there going in circle over and over...

Ohyea.. some usefull info ;p

Windows 7 64bit, Full Updates. Java latest (32and64), FFMpeg latest from their site. Both video and Audio is set to Original by default

update..

I was watching the C:\windows\temp\serviio folder and was seeing the files being created. I can play them with vlc without probs

ok.. so the file isnt' being created fast enough.. Going to try a ram drive to see if that helps. Nope.. still not playing even after its completly copied.. if i close it and try it again it works.. ...

what's your browser ? Do you have the latest Flash plugin? Can you play videos from here? http://flowplayer.org/demos/configurati ... rated.html

Also note that Flash has a bug and doesn't wok with RealPlayer in case you have that installed.

Yup... I checked all that already.

FFMpeg is the latest, Flash is the latest, tested flow just now from the link you gave me works fine.

I tested with VLC and It works fine (instructions from the wiki) Only way I can view the shows from the web player (trial pro) is if i wait till it's fully copied in the C:\windows\temp\serviio and press the X on the flow player and click the same clip again.

It's not fully streaming the video.

How Do I get VLC to see a remote serviio server (across the internet)?

can you enable detailed logging and play the file again, then post the bit of log that started when you played the file

log looks ok. You can try to see what is the stream URL using Firebug or similar tool for your browser and try to open the stream in VLC
