Serviio and Ubuntu 12.04

I have a home server where I did a fresh install from 11.10 to 12.04. I have a single hdd with the operating system. I then have 2 500gb hdd with raid 1.

I have tried to install Serviio without any luck. I install serviio and run the serviio-console. I can see serviio and the folders on my dlna device. But I don't see any content in the folders. Also, I am unable to start serviio with the command line. With the last operating system (11.10) I used serviio and it worked perfect. I don't understand what is prohibiting me from getting the media server to work on Ubuntu 12.04.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to test serviio..

Thanks for the help in advance..Chad

Most likely the ffmpeg version as Serviio 1.0 requires a slightly newer (although still quite old) set of command line options.

Can you post the version infor for ffmpeg. If you have the version that came with ubuntu, you will probably have to build it from source (files on the download page, instructions in the wiki).
