On my samsung phone it asks for the server name and address. Where would I find that information on my Mac now that I have Serviio set up there?
Thank you

Which app are you using on your phone? Web browser? ServiiDriod? ServiiGo?

Are you accessing serviio from your LAN, or remotely?

First find your Ip Address: http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/21/find-ip-address-mac/

You will also need to enable the port in the firewall if you have it enabled.

For ServiiGo, the port is 23424

I have ServiiDroid on my phone.

Accessing remotely.

The firewall is off for the sake of trying to use this.

To use ServiiDroid (or ServiiGo) remotely you probably need to setup a Dynamic DNS.

http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... ote_access

Has some help (note port 23423 is for ServiiDroid and 23424 is for ServiiGo)

This will give you an address which will point to your router from the Internet which you can type into the address box. You will also have to forward the required ports from your router to your mac.
