MP4 with DTS audio not showing up in library

I have recently started creating my MP4s with DTS audio (direct passthru with no transcoding to AC3 or other) and have noticed than none of these MP4/DTS movies are showing up in the available library. They play just fine with VLC, so I know the files are OK. All of the MP4s with audio other than DTS appear. Am I not selecting a needed Serviio option or is this a limitation of the program? Had this issue in 1.0 and still have it with a clean install of 1.0.1, on Windows 7 x64, SP1.

what is your renderer and what profile are you using? post ffmpeg -i of the file.

still not appearing? what is your renderer. And check the file is added to library by running MediaController from Intel tools (link in my signature)

I use Handbrake 0.98, x264 encoder. The DTS audio versions that do not appear in the library are created using the Handbrake "passthru" option, which I believe is a straight bit for bit copy of the audio track. If I transcode the audio to AC3 (using x264), the movie appears in the library.

You still haven't told me what is your renderer device?

Same problem here. MP4 files do not show up in lybrary listings. However they do show up if I use the directory listing in deluge and not the Series or Movies folders and I can play them just fine.

Should I provide a FFmpeg listing?

That's because metadata have not been found for these to identify them as serie or movie.

Thank you for your answer. Is there a way around that? I don`t really know how metadata is obtained, I suppose it`s from online sources but this only happens for mp4 files and not all of them, some work. So I think this lack of found metadata has something to do with the file format.
