Now, that my Serviio Server is not Crashing any more, i found a other Problem.
When i tr to watch Films over the WEB Client, the movie is badly colored.. everithing is kind of Blue...
in the Log i find this Message:

2012-08-21 05:48:16,504 WARN [ProcessExecutor] Process ffmpeg has a return code
of 137! This is a possible error.

on other DLNA Client's this does not happen.
any Ideas :?:

Enable detailed log, play it again, find the ffmpeg copmmand and run it manually to see why it fails.

the call would be further up in the log. regarding blue color - weird. Maybe a new ffmpeg would fix it?

OK, have to check the Log again... ;-)

I just realized, thet this Film doesn't Play on my Samsung TV :-(

(Format not supported)
but if i Play it on a Video Player on the PC, it looks fine.

If i open the outcome of my ffmpeg command in a Video Player, it looks just fine.
so, it seems the ffmpeg command is OK

hmmm.. now it gets realy strange...
i gave it a try from my Laptop....
(same Ubuntu / Firefox Version)
and from there the Video play's perfect... :shock:

So it must be something with the Hardware, or a tiny thing in Ubuntu on my localhost :roll:

You have not posted sufficient info.
You need to post the log showing the playback on the TV and the ffmpeg command which is different than the mediaplayer command.

Try that command standalone as well, and try to play the renamed stf on your tv. The errors with the mb command output imply the transcoded file is dicy and tvs are more sensitive to bad files than mb, but you need to try the actual tv file..
