internet and intranet access

Just purchased Serviio and I am not able to view the mediabrower via the internet or even my intranet. I can only bring up the browser with the localhost:23242/mediabroswer. I can't even pull up the mediabrowser on the host PC by using the host IP address. I am sure it's something I am not setting up or doing wrong. Any suggestions.

Which OS? Can you make sure that TCP port 23424 is allowed through your firewall, and also post the serviio.log (located in the log directory where you installed serviio)

I made sure that the port was forwarded on my router to the Windows7 PC hosting Derviio, all other forwaded ports are working fine so I don't think that its the router causing the issue. Also with inside the firewall all of my other PC, as well as the PC hosting Serviio should not need to go through the firewall to see the mediabrowser. I checked this by placing 3 PC on a switch all with in the same subnet and mask with different IP's, Telnet work, FTP worked just the 23242 is not connecting. Once I get home I will enable the debug in the log and post it.

Thanks Will!

OH also I tried to bind the IPaddress to the ethernet port and disabled all other network adapters

Are you using the right port, it is 23424, not 23242 (which is what you have posted).

You shouldn't need to turn on debug logging, just post a normal log for now.

Ok, well post the log when you get home. Out of interest, does http://ipaddress:23423/rest/application work?

Ok. Post the log then, and maybe run command prompt and post the output of "ipconfig /all"
