Serviio

Hey guys....i recently downloaded serviio's latest version when it prompted me to download on startup. I installed it but for some reasons i uninstalled it again and when i reinstalled it won't open up. I dont know what happened. I turned off my network firewall for sometime but in vain. I have also Samsung LCD on which i share my pc's content. But the console is not opening up. However windows network sharing is working on my LCD. That means problem is somewhere in the pc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled servioo serveral times but it wont work. Please help me out.

Windows 7 64 bit...

1) Leave Serviio alone (installed and broken)
2) Uninstall both Java versions in Control Panel>Programs & Features (32 bit and 64 bit)
3) Download the latest Java 7 Update 7 versions from java.com (both 32 & 64 bit)
4) Install in this exact order 64 bit Java, then 32 bit Java
5) From Start Menu launch "Start Serviio Service" then "Serviio Console"
6) Right click tray icon when it appears (after hard drive thrashing is done) and "Force Library Refresh" NOTE: This may take forever since you uninstalled the program

I have the same problem and re-installing Java has not solved the problem.

System config says that Serviio is running, clicking on 'stop serviio service' has no effect.

Clicking on 'serviio console' does nothing.

Windows 7 64bit

Ok, solved my own problem.

open task manager
right click on Serviioconsole.exe and click on properties
select compatibility tab
tick box and select windows7 from the drop down box.
now click Serviio console in start menu and it runs!!

Problem was sorted.....until I reboot and then nothing I do will get the server to start or the console to run.
