Best METADATA source and advice

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times and yes I have searched the forum for an answer (but as I'm sure you're aware, this forum is enormous, finding an answer is like finding a needle in a haystack).

I'm currently using Serviio Pro with the following settings in the 'MetaData' tab:
-Generate Thumbnails for local videos
-Look for local DVD cover image or poster
-Online MetaData Sources
-Retrieve DVD cover image or poster if available

I also have MyMovies installed on my server, which scans and imports movie cover art and metadata as I add new media to the server.

With that said I believe this means, MyMovies will create the coverart while Serviio will create the metadata (based off of online sources, which are?). I personally like the metadata created by MyMovies as it has descriptions, years, actors, ratings etc. But I'm not sure how to configure Serviio to use the metadata created by MyMovies.

I've begun noticing (especially since I made my MediaBrowser public so my family can watch my movies online) that the metadata and artwork aren't accurate for my movie's (my family doesn't hesitate to point that out to me). I'd probably say about 25%-35% of my movies have incorrect or no data. I do understand that I will never be able to find a solution that is 100% accurate and automated and that I will always need to manually check or update movie data from time to time; but I'd like to hear the solutions you all put in place for making sure you movies/music have accurate data associated with them.

Anyone out there willing to help me put together a solution that will provide more accurate cover art and metadata for my media? I'll be your best-friend

This is directly copied from the wiki:

Serviio supports priority-based configuration of metadata extractors. The idea is that all (enabled) extractors will run for each media file and try to get as much metadata as possible. Metadata found by an extractor with higher priority overwrite metadata found by an extractor with lower priority. The current release includes these extractors (by priority):

Embedded metadata
Online metadata sources
Swisscenter
XBMC
Local poster

if you want serviio to use your mymovies metadata try to make the necessary changes in serviio console. does your console look like this:

if not change it and do a rescan hope this helps
