Serviio

I have been running Serviio on my Windows Server 2008 box without issue since version .5. For some reason I am no longer able to see Serviio on any of my connected devices (PS3, Blu-ray, phone). I have reinstalled Serviio, rebooted the server, rebooted the router, and tried setting my bound ip in the console.

For me installing version 1 helped. I was on 1.0.1

Per other forums I also disabled the SSDP discovery service. I may try downgrading to 1.0.0 next. Anyone experience this issue?

I browsed uPnP using VLC and I can see Serviio, but I can't drill down into it.

How about AV Media Controller from UPnP tools. Log looks ok, although detailed would be better.

Once I installed the UPnP tools and looked via AV Media Controller I was able to drill down (oddly I was able to do this in VLC as well). It looks like none of my wireless clients are able to connect. I turned debug on in the log and am not seeing connection attempts from the wireless clients.

I think my router is the issue not Serviio. My wireless clients can see the WIndows UPnP sharing from another wireless device and my wired can see each other, but wired can't see wireless and vice-versa.

Ok. Found the issue online. Seems like there is an issue going around with Actiontec wireless routers for FiOS. You have to disable IGMP Proxy. Here is the thread.

I just decided to post a big thank you to everyone, specially mike_metro for the IGMP Proxy thing. After days battling and trying to understand how all of these things work the solution was as simple as disabling the IGMP. Weird thing was that the server worked for a while at first install and after going pro I started having troubles.
But now I am streaming again! Both to my Samsung TV, Playstation 3 and online to my tablet and smartphone!
