I have an E6600 running at 3Ghz and see that sometimes serviio is sat at around 20-30% usage and 500-600 meg of memory for one task and about 50-100meg for the other task. This is without ANY media players playing anything ( My TV is OFF) Why so heavy on the memory ? and is there anything I can Do.

- Do you enable library automaic update ? -> you can disable it
- Do you use plugins with some online resources ? -> if online source is used, nothing we can do.

Serviio is allowed to take up to 512MB RAM. It's usually adding (large) images that take a lot of memory and Java will not return the memory back to the OS unless it's needed. Also depends on the Java you are using.

I have ONLY 1 source which at the moment has 6 files/movies in it.
So if you use online sources then serviio is always doing something when running and never stops or gets to the end of a proccess ?
