Serviio pro on win 7

Bought a new win 7 machine with some grunt. Bought Serviio pro and installed.
Have a QNAP attached so linked UNC paths to folders on it. Folders come up but "there are no playable files". Local files on PC come up. PC has shares setup to QNAP, so I know this should not be happening.
Any ideas.

Just for kicks, try mapping a drive to the shared folder, check permissions, then use the root of the mapped drive as the folder location...

Thanks but the Qnap has been mapped on the PC since day one. Used UNC linking as well \\QNAP\Media.....

Interestingly, cant get the NAS to come up under "location" using the services.msc utility. So PC is not seeing the NAS.

Does anyone know how to make the PC see the NAS from windows 7? Mapping does not seem to be enough!
