ServiioService.exe causing CPU spikes

For about two weeks my computer has been having spikes in CPU usage. I couldn't figure it out at first, and ran malware scanners and virus scanners which came back with nothing. Eventually I realised I could use Task Manager and Process Explorer to figure out what was doing it.

Here are screenshots of it happening three times in Task Manager: http://i.imgur.com/kaDMa.png

and here's a screenshot of Process Explorer, with normal activity on the Left hand Side, and CPU topped out at 100% on the right hand side: http://i.imgur.com/nqcH4.png

Each time, the culprit is ServiioService.exe causing the problem.

Having read previous messages in this forum, I unchecked every option in the Metadata tab in the Console, but I am still having issues of the CPU spiking and my computer pausing. This happens every 5-10 minutes or so and lasts around a second. It's extremely annoying, especially when I'm typing or watching a video.

I don't know what else to do other than uninstall the software, which I don't want to.. Please help!

It might be caused by Java's garbage collection (freeing memory tht is not needed any more).

Not much, unless you want to dive into garbage collection settings in Java.

You could try to update Java in case they made some changes.
