Serviio via vpn
Posted: Mon Nov 12, 2012 9:58 amI have Serviio installed on an Ubuntu 12.04 server that I rent to play about with. So far I have most things working, media browser, console, etc.
I'm having a problem connecting via XBMC.
I have an openvpn connection between me and the server and I can ping from both sides, from what I have red online is that UPNP doesn't function over VPN. is this true? and is there a way to get UPNP working over a VPN.
Currently the VPN and my local network are functioning on 2 different subnets 10.8.x.x and 192.168.x.x Should I first begin by setting up a bridge so they are the same.
