Remote Access to Serviio

I'm sure this has been asked before and bear with me since I'm new to the app, but I can't seem to find any real information on accessing serviio remotely. Not a remote console to manage the server but just access media. In various media clients, should I simply be able to access my home's public IP (or DYDNS name, etc) with a port number specified, provided I have the port mapped to the server machine inside the network? I've been experimenting but no luck so far and I'm SURE someone can answer this one for me.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

not via DLNA protocol, but you can use MediaBrowser (if you are a PRO user or still inside evaluation period).

That's just what I needed to know. Thank you. Works like a charm and I already owned pro.

You can also use ServiiGo from your android devices which is a native android version of MediaBrowser.

May I ask you why you bought PRO if you din't know about this major feature that makes it different from the free version? Just asking so that I can market it better, to let people know what they are missing ;-)
