IE9 And Media Browser

Hello,

I have the Pro edition of Serviio (v1.0.1) and am experiencing difficulties trying to play movies in the media browser. The movie thumbnails are displayed OK but when I try to play the movies nothing happens - a spinning arrow appears and stays that way. My PC is a 64 bit Intel i7 core running IE9

I can view the movies with no problem using the following methods:
- VLC when connected to Serviio
- Smart TV when connectd to Serviio
- when connected direct to website i.e bypassing Serviio

Now if I change my browser to Chrome, then I CAN view the movies from within the Serviio media browser.

I have attached a copy of the log file for reference - nothing of any note but a few entries relating to ffmpeg - is this something to do with the IE9/media browser problem? There seems to be other threads outlining similar sounding problems

It looks like a problem with the Flash plugin in IE. Do you have the latest? Also do you have RealPlayer installed? It's known to interfere with certain Flash versions.

Realplayer is not installed. I assume you are asking about the Adobe flashplayer setting, if so its: 11.5.502.110 i.e. the latest. Serviio Pro has been running on the PC for about ~1week

One thing I don't understand is where flowplayer fits into this. Is it embedded within serviio? Is it clashing with something in IE?

Other than this issue, serviio works fine for me - nice and easy to use/navigate. Folder structure for the libraries is a bit simple but I understand it will be enhanced for the next serviio release.
