Serviio

I just installed Serviio, so I am pretty new to this, but I am having and issue that I can't seem to find any solution for.

I have Serviio installed on a Windows 2008 server in my home. When I try to access the media browser locally on the server via http://localhost:23424, everything comes up fine. But when trying to access it with a different computer on my network via http://(my_server's_IP):23424, I get the following error:



Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can you ping the server's IP?
Make sure the server doesn't have a firewall blocking incoming port 23424

Sorry for the delay in response, here's the answers to your questions.

1. I am able to ping the server and access it remotely otherwise.
- I am able to telnet into the serviio port on the server so it is making a connection.
2. The firewall is not blocking traffic to that port. I tried accessing the media browser with the Windows firewall turned off and I still experienced the same issue.

Just to clarify, you have /mediabrowser at the end of the URL, right?

Try with /mediabrowser and /mediabrowser/

i know its waaayyyy down the line now, but I came accross this post when i set up my serviio tonight. SAME ISSUE!

firewall off, av disabled, port forwarded, i can telnet into port 23424 with my ip, but browser says blocked.

anyone get a solution by any chance? or can someone maybe advise how to troubleshoot?
