Audio files not displayed

I have a Canadian bought Sony Bravia KDL55EX645 and have Sony Homestrem installed (slimmed down Serviio I know) it plays video without problem after a little tweak, however the audio files that are all either MP3 or MP4 files do not show.

I have checked various things like is the Audio option selcted? do they appear in the log? etc but cannot resolve this.
I can see the folder names but all folders containing music give the error No items to Display

One thing I noticed in the log file is after each audio file name it says Unable to find next atom because identifier is invalid mdat
Is this what is causing my problem? Any help greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you are asking?

They are files on a mapped drive.
They are ripped from CD's, it seems that I can play some depending on how I browse to them i.e. works browsing one way but same file doesnt work browsing another.
