Location of files on Mac

Hello,

It appears the Mac version stores all it's data and log files in the application folder. This is a really bad form on Mac. Any wort of data files should be stored in /Library/Application Support/serviio

Log files should be stored in /Library/Logs/serviio

The reason is that Applications are commonly installed with an admin account, and users run programs as regular users. Well, this is the safest way to operate a computer. Also, if the data is stored in application folder, when the application is updated all the data will be lost.

Config files also should be stored in application support, not in the applications folder

At any rate, is there a way to change the plug-ins, log, conf, and data folder?

This is a known issue and might get solved in future. You can't change that now.

Thanks for the response. I just updated to 1.1, and of course I lost all my settings.
