Serviio 1.1 not working

Hi

I'm having some problems with Serviio since upgrading to 1.1. My Sony TV and WDTV no longer see Serviio. Strange thing is the xBox sees it just fine.

I'm running Serviio on OSX 10.8.2 - when Serviio launches I get 'Application Not Responding'. Also when I 'Show Status' it is continually red for both checking new files and updates.

I have uploaded the log file. Does anybody have any ideas as to what is going on?

The previous version worked perfectly!

Is 192.168.0.62 your IP? Are the devices on the same subnet?

Yes that is the IP, all of the devices are on the same subnet.

Still can't figure out why the xBox works but the WDTV and Sony TV do not.

same issue here. Message about 1.1 update available on Windows 7 today so I updated. Then serviio was missing - not listed - on any dlna device (Samsung, iphone with buzz player etc). Uninstalled, cleared registry and reinstalled 1.1 clean - same problem of not being listed. Uninstalled again and reinstalled the old 1.0.1 from a previous download and all is fine again.

It's not a firewall issue and no ports are blocked. Let me know if I can help debug the issue/capture logs.

I tried going back to 1.0.1 but still the same issue. Just tried VLC on my laptop and it can see Serviio fine. Just not the WDTV or the Sony TV. Not too sure how to take this one forward. I've rebooted everything, its still not showing up.

Can you see the devices in the list of renders? Are they not disabled for some reason? Check by right clicking on them.

Try to enter your IP address to the Bound IP address field.

Same problem here. Once I upgraded to 1.1 my WDTV Live could not find the Media Server. It indicated it had connected to the network OK but would not find the Media Server. I reinstalled version 1.0.1 and the problem disappeared. By the way I did enter the IP address in the Bound IP address field but it made no difference. I'm on a Mac running OSX 10.6.8.

I put the IP Address in the Bound IP address field but it still made no difference.

The log looks ok. Can you enable detailed logging and post it again?

I have the exact same problem. I can see Serviio on both of my D-Link boxes, as well as my LG Blu-Ray player. But, my WDTV Live comes up blank. I'm trying up upload my log file, but it's too big (2.5meg zipped, 35meg unzipped).

I'm also having this problem since upgrading to 1.1 on a Windows 7 machine. It has always worked flawlessly but now I can't see Serviio on my Sony Bluray, my PS3 or my iPad.

Edit: I enabled debug mode in order to upload my log file and noticed the Serviio logo pop up in my devices on my PS3 so tried watching a video and it works! I tried disabling debug mode and it vanishes again. Would it hurt to leave it in debug mode as that's the only way I can seem to get it to work

Hi

Sorry I have been away over Christmas.

I've enabled detailed logging and attached the log so far. Neither the WDTV or Sony TV see Serviio after enabling the detailed logging - that would have been an easy fix!

Same problem here... after updating a 1.0.1 to 1.1 my device is no longer recognized by my Samsung TV.
I've stopped the server from the Serviio Console, then I've stopped the service from the windows service, then I start again the service and start again Serviio from the console and then... my serviio device appears on my TV screen :)
I have to do this each time I restart the computer... no idea why...
Hope it could help
See you

Okay, I've swapped my router and now the WDTV can see Serviio. The Sony TV still can't but I don't use it very much.

I've done a clean install of Serviio but the app seems to still hang and say 'Application Not Responding'. It used to disappear from the Dock after a while.

Now everything looks ok, I've restart again the computer and Serviio was available on the Samsung TV...
If the problem occurs again, I'll post log here...
Thank you,
