Serviio on WHS not seeing devices

I have a new installation of Serviio on Windows Home Server original version. The library seems to be working OK, but the Devices & Status page is blank. I have a Western Digital TV Live box, and a Samsung Blu Ray player, both of which are supposed to be DLNA compliant.
I can't seem to manually add anything, clicking the add button does nothing. Refresh does not seem to help.
How can I get Serviio to recognize my devices?
