I am able to see all of my movies on the Xbox 360. When I select to play them however, I get an unsupported format error.

Try a 720p or lower res video. I have never gotten 1080p to play on xbox 360.

Weird, I watch 1080's on my 360 all the time.

Hmm... maybe it's just my TV ...

Suppose it's time for me to get another 1080p mkv sample and try it.

can you please post a detailed log after trying to play the file on your xbox?
