Serviio

hi,

i've installed serviio 1.1. on a windows 2008 server. I can perfectly stream videos to my windows 8 machine. The machine is also listed on the status tab of the serviio console.
If I want use my xbox 360 then I can't find the server on the xbox and my xbox box isn't listed on the status tab neither.

All devices are in the same network (192.168.0.X) and my router supports upnp (and is also enabled). I'm using a xbox 360 of the first generation, the noisy one.
What am I doing wrong. How can I find the issue?

is your xbox connected via the same medium as your servers?

We are starting to see more and more routers that segment their wired and wireless connections from each other.

I had the same issue, until I found dropping my firewall on my windows machine helped.

Do you have a firewall enabled? Try disabling it and see if your Xbox discovers Serviio.
