Media Browser does not stream any file

Hello,

I just installed serviio on my nas and it works well.

However, when I use the Media Browser, I am unable to play any file: all the times I have the same error: “200,Stream not found”.
Here the last error message received:
200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip: '[Clip] 'http://192.168.0.100:23424/cds/resource/27/MEDIA_ITEM/FLV-0/MEDIUM,flv_player?authToken=b3e69122963241a083c1b94c94134bd8''

I copied/pasted the http command (http://192.168.0.100:23424/cds/resource ... ITEM/FLV-0) in my Browser and the error message that I got is:
<result><errorCode>553</errorCode><httpCode>401</httpCode></result>

I also pasted the command in VLC but I was stuck at username and password request.

For information, serviio is running on a qnap ts-219p+.
This is my OS: Linux FulvioNAS 2.6.33.2 #1 Wed Dec 5 11:46:33 CST 2012 armv5tel unknown
This is my FFmpeg version: ffmpeg version 0.8.10, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers built on Dec 5 2012 02:57:35 with gcc 4.2.1

To install serviio, I followed this guide: http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=252&t=45994

I enabled the detailed logging and it is available here:

Has anyone else come across this ?
How could I fix this problem ?

Thank you in advance.

Your FFmpeg is too old. Get the latest one.

Hi Zip,

Thank you for your reply.

However I am a newbie, could you provide me more information on how I can upgrade ffmeg? Notably:
1 . Do I have to remove the supplied ffmpeg before compiling/installing new one? Or can/should I run them both?
2. Should I use ipkg or compile from source?
3. Do I have to create symlinks for the new version? And does it survive reboot?
4. I am thinking to follow tutorial in the link below (point 2, hard way), am I right or totally wrong?
http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=install_qnap

Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm not familiar with the NAS nor the package. Ask at the QNAP forum.

The QNAP admin may packaged the wrong ffmpeg version

Contant the qnap moderator internaut19 for an update
He packages both Intel and Arm versions
